Story
I developed kidney disease at the age of 17 and have been on dialysis for 32 years: the average life span in the UK is 5-10 years. I'm one of the UK's longest surviving dialysis patients. I was also the first dialysis patient record worldwide to have a baby. I will be on dialysis for the rest of my life.
kidney disease is an unseen condition. It's also life-changing.
There is no cure.
1 in 10 of us have kidney disease but it is often undiagnosed for years.
I'm doing the Kidney Care UK October Dog Walking Challenge to make sure that no one faces kidney disease alone.
Support me to complete 70 miles through the month to raise as much as possible for the 3.5 million people living with kidney disease in the UK
Thank you
