Story
I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining 13 of my amazing colleagues from Booths for an epic cycling adventure from London to Paris! We’re gearing up to ride 500km from Thursday, 5th June to Monday, 9th June 2025, all in support of the blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia. Did you know that every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a form of blood cancer? That’s a staggering statistic that really hits home.
Now, let me tell you a little about my journey. Just before the 1st of February, I didn’t even own a bike! I was completely new to cycling! But with determination and the support of my family and friends, plus some fantastic training partners (and yes, a shiny new orange bike!), I’m ready to take on this challenge!
Every penny raised will go towards funding specialist research nurses at 15 blood cancer centres across the UK who connect patients with the latest treatments through clinical trials.
I’m aiming to raise £1,500 for this important cause. Your support means everything! Together, we can make a difference in the fight against blood cancer. Let’s do this!
