I am running the London Marathon in 2025 for Aspire, a charity which supports people with spinal injuries.

I am running in memory of Tom Lazarides who I have known all my life and is like family to me. In 2020 Tom had a horrific life changing accident which tragically led to him being paralysed and to his early death in November 2023, aged only 23. I will be running with Theo and Kate - one of Tom’s older brothers and his younger sister.

Aspire provided invaluable support to Tom and his family and I am running this marathon to raise much needed funds and awareness for Aspire.

Tragically every two hours someone is paralysed in the UK by a spinal cord injury and there is currently no cure.
