Story

I am so lucky and excited to be running the 2024 London Marathon for the RVC Animal Care Trust. I got involved with the the RVC as they have a canine blood donor programme which my superstar Lurcher and running partner Zooma is part of. One of my previous lurchers Meg had a disease called immune mediated haemolytic anaemia which made her very ill and anaemic needing a blood transfusion to save her. Luckily someone's dog was a donor and that donation saved her life. After that I wanted to give something back as a thank you to whoever it was that had taken the time for their dog to donate blood and save Meg. Zooma has been a blood donor for 3 years now and I'm proud that he is able to give something back to help other dogs that need help like Meg did but now it's my turn to give back to the RVC by running the marathon for this great Animal Care Trust. Any donation would be gratefully received to help me get to my total.

Every penny raised will help continue their work to improve the treatment and care of animals through their hospitals, education and research. Please donate and make a difference to the thousands of pets and animals cared for each year.
