Ruils Three Peaks Challenge 2024
Campaign by Ruils (RCN 1127896)
The Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The challenge is to climb each of these three peaks one after the other.

Story

Alongside a team of 13 people, I'll be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge for the first time. We'll be attempting to summit Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all within 24 hours, and all in aid of Ruils.

Ruils is a charity local to me that supports disabled people to live independently. The cost of living crisis has left many clients struggling and there is a long waiting list for Ruils' counselling and befriending services.

Counselling at Ruils provides a safe and supportive space for parents of disabled young people, or those who are disabled or have mental health conditions themselves. It allows them to discuss their concerns and find ways to cope. This service is unique locally, as it is free of charge to access. It costs Ruils £257 to deliver a series of 12 counselling sessions to a client who needs support.

It's going to be a tough challenge and one I am training hard for, and I would so appreciate any and all support you can give.

Thank you so much,

Nick
