Story

Is there any more stereotypical way of doing self care for an intensivist than cycling?

A bunch of us are living up to this and cycling across the country to our annual State of the Art conference at Birmingham, aiming to promote our speciality and society, movement for health and wellbeing, and environmental sustainability. Personally I'm planning on going from Nottingham, and visiting all the ICUs along the way.

If you wanted to donate to the ICS charity in support of this, the money would go towards supporting staff who care for the sickest patients in the country, funding research to improve patient outcomes, providing education and lifesaving guidance, and facilitating rehabilitation to help get patients back on their feet after critical illness.
