Support Nicholas Associates Group in the Ullswater Challenge to Empower Children through Film!

This October, a dedicated team of colleagues from Nicholas Associates Group will embark on the formidable Ullswater Challenge. This 20-mile endurance event will see them walking, paddle boarding, and biking through the picturesque landscapes of Ullswater, all to raise vital funds for PHASE Worldwide to support its new #FilmForAll enrichment programme in addition to its vital work in Nepal.

About the Challenge

The Ullswater Challenge is no small feat. Our team will:

Walk through the stunning trails surrounding Ullswater

Some will paddleboard back to base camp (depending on weather conditions can take 4-5 hours.

the rest of the team will cycle back in total, covering a distance of 20 miles

Why We’re Doing This?

At NAG we change lives – the jobs and careers we support and develop give people and families opportunities, our mission is to enable people to be their best.

This is why we partner with PHASE Worldwide (PWW). PWW support people and communities with practical help to achieve self-empowerment. It doesn’t matter where this is in the world. For many years PHASE have worked in Nepal, changing lives through the provision of health services and maternal care, bringing babies into the world in very remote locations with some basic medical care. Saving lives and creating opportunities along the way.

More recently PWW has begun working in the UK, with the same mantra, practical help to achieve self-empowerment. This time with kids that don’t have access to the same opportunities as other kids. We have partnered with Cine School enabling primary school kids to make films that are entered into film festivals and give the kids a new skills (filming, costume design, directing, acting, script writing) making something they are proud of, giving them the confidence to get what they want from life.

As a team we are taking part in this event to support PHASE to change more lives in the UK and across the world similar to what we are doing at NAG with each opportunity we provide.
