For 2025, I have decided to take part in 3 big individual events all taking place within 7 weeks, across the UK, with events in Scotland, Wales and England.

A marathon, a 157km bike ride and a 6km swim. Covering over 205kms.

The Edinburgh Marathon, a standard big city 26.2miles at the end of May.

The Dragon Ride, a cycle with over 2,000m of climbing in the Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons).

The Bantham Swoosh, a 6km swim in the Avon (Aune) estuary in Devon.

Whilst I have ran marathons before and taken part in swimming events, chuck in the cycle and that is a whole different challenge. I've a chequered history on the bike, only learning to properly ride recently with some memorable experiences beforehand.

There is very likely to be, blood, sweat and tears!

The aim of all this silliness is to raise as much money as possible for the charity Level Water:
