Story
My grandad was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma in October 2023, with a secondary tumour on his spine which left him paralysed from the waist down.
Being a strong and stubborn (😂) man of 78 years, he had taken this in his stride! 9 weeks in hospital and he finally came home at the beginning of December.
I am so proud of him so my brother James and I are doing a 10k run to raise funds for Myeloma UK in his name. If you can spare a pound or two, it would mean so much to me and my family!
Recently, on the 28th February 2024, my grandad passed away early hours in the morning. Whilst he was alive, he was always asking me how my fundraiser was getting on and was so thankful for everyone’s generous donations. By donating any spare penny, it would mean the world to us to be able to fundraise all this money in his honour.
This photo was taken of my grandad on Boxing Day 2022 and this is how I will always remember him ☘️🇮🇪
