nia works with women and girls who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution. We deliver frontline services to around 2,000 women and girls a year. Our services include specialist refuge accommodation, rape crisis, advocacy and counselling.

Story

Cathy Gillespie's unexpected passing has been devastating to all who knew and loved her.

As she was a committed feminist, I'm donating to Nia in her memory. Please join me if you would like to. And, if you leave a message, we can share it with her loved ones.

Any money collected will go direct to Nia via Just Giving.

Nia says:

"Nia, has been fighting violence against women and girls since 1975. We support around 2000 women/year across a range of services including prostitution exiting, rape crisis, domestic violence and play therapy.

We deliver frontline services to women and undertake research. Increasingly we need to advocate for women to try to ensure that they can access rights, justice and support and we achieve more together than alone."
