Story
The time has come — the dreads are going. I've had them since I was 15 years old, and me, the music, and the world have changed a hell of a lot since then. I'm currently on tour, starting tonight in Norwich, and I’ll be all over the country, playing old songs and some new ones too. At one of these shows, I’m going to shave my head. It’s going to be a very strange but exciting new chapter for me, and I’m looking forward to it.
But there’s more to this than just a haircut. I’m raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), a charity I’ve been involved with since the very beginning of my career. Over the years, I’ve visited wards, raised money at shows, and met some incredible young people fighting cancer. So when the time came to drop the dreads, it made total sense to raise funds for this amazing cause.
Teenage Cancer Trust provides specialised care, support, and treatment for young people aged 13-24 who are facing cancer. Your donations will go directly to helping these young people get the care and support they need during one of the toughest times in their lives.
Please donate if you can, and let’s work together to make a real difference. Every penny counts, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support.
