We fund research and raise awareness of MND to help anyone touched by MND.

Story

This February, a group of "seasoned" cyclists from Newport-on-Tay, joined by special guests Andy Nicol, former Scotland international rugby player, will embark on an epic 700-mile ride across Scotland in just four days to support the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Starting on the 5th of February, the team will pedal through Scotland’s stunning landscapes, stopping at welcoming rugby clubs along the way to raise funds and awareness for motor neurone disease research.

Their version of a grand tour concludes at Heriot’s Rugby Club on Saturday, 8th February - just in time to gear up for the Scotland v Ireland Six Nations clash on Sunday.

Every turn of their wheels is a tribute to the legacy of Doddie Weir and a step closer to finding a cure.

Cheer them on and support this incredible cause. Every mile matters, every pound helps, and every bit of banter fuels their energy and determination to keep going!

The full team includes Andy Nicol, Craig Samson, Duncan Graham, Tony Thorne, Matt Duberry Keith Nicolson, John Robertson, Robin Angus and Richard Lawson. In support we have Ian Rennie.
