Let's make this fundraiser a hole-in-one for charity! ⛳️🌟
About UCAN:
UCAN has been set up as a charity dedicated to raising awareness of urological cancers, and improving support and quality of life for people and families who are affected.
On 25 April 2024 UCAN launched a new £2.5 million appeal, our goal is to fund the SURE Unit (Swift Urological Response and Evaluation) (formerly the Rapid Diagnostic Centre) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The SURE Unit aims to enable patients with a suspected urological cancer to be seen quicker, and to have all of their scans and/or diagnostic procedures during a single visit to hospital. The SURE Unit aims to significantly reduce the time to diagnosis, which will improve cancer treatment outcomes and reduce anxiety for patients and their families across the North of Scotland.
