Story
This time last year my friend and colleague, Steven Davies, was going through his daily routine until one morning he woke up coughing up blood. Tests and a biopsy at Wigan infirmary showed a cancerous tumour behind his tonsils which had also spread to his throat.
He was referred to the Christie Hospital in Manchester.
6 weeks of Radiotherapy & 2 courses of Chemotherapy followed.
With his Wife, Daughter and parents by his side he battled his way through the treatment, and in January this year, following a scan, he was given the wonderful news that the treatment had been successful. There are more scans to follow, but the light at the end of the tunnel is shining brighter.
