Story
I'm proud to be a Trustee of the Palace for Life Foundation, which does amazing work with young people in south London.
And on Saturday October 12th, I'll be setting forth on a 26.2-mile walk alongside 200 other Palace fans to raise funds for the Foundation's amazing work.
The walk will be a big milestone for me: after having to miss recent walks because of an increasingly bothersome right hip, I got it replaced earlier this year: from before the operation, making it to the Marathon March (and then completing it!) was my recovery goal.
But the Foundation's work is the big deal, and what I'd love you to support, if you can.
For over 25 years, the Palace for Life Foundation has been actively addressing the growing challenges faced by young people in south London, including youth knife crime, violence, unemployment, and physical and mental health challenges.
Your donation, regardless of its size, will support them in their mission to empower young people in our community.
For example:
£30 could fund one hour of mentoring, allowing additional time to explore pathways for a young person's future.
£50 could cover the cost of a gift card for someone in need of clothes for an interview.
Please join me in supporting and spreading the word about this meaningful cause.
Thank you for your generosity!
