Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
Ten years ago, Neil suffered a heart attack that changed his perspective on life. He realized that happiness and freedom were not things that could be taken for granted and that he needed to seize every opportunity to live life to the fullest. And what better way to do that than by the challenge of sailing around the coasts of Great Britain with his friend Shaun in a 29ft sail boat?
As they journey around the coast, Neil is raising money for two charities that are close to his heart - the British Heart Foundation and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. These organizations have provided support and care for Neil, and he wants to give back by raising awareness and funds to help others who may be going through similar experiences.
For Neil, sailing is not just a hobby - it's a way of life. It's a chance to escape the stresses of everyday life and appreciate the beauty of the world around him. And with every mile that he and Shaun sail, they are reminded of the preciousness of life and the importance of cherishing every moment.
So, if you want to help Neil and Shaun on their journey, please consider donating to these worthy causes. Together, we can make a difference.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
