Story

IF YOU ARE A CANADIAN RESIDENT, PLEASE DONATE TO MY CANADIAN PAGE FOR A CDN TAX RECEIPT AT: https://run.terryfox.ca/page/neiljohnsonuk

When I realized in 2019 that London's Terry Fox Run had stopped running in 2007, I took it upon myself to re-start the run. I figured I knew some Canadians and we could get Terry Fox back in London.

What I miscalculated are all the people, Canadian and British, who consider Terry Fox a legend and who are committed like me, to bringing back this iconic event. And we have done that together, and the movement continues to grow. With 5 runs across the UK, and Wrexham AFC's owner as our collaborator, the Terry Fox Run UK is where it's at.

I am proud to have the honour of representing Terry Fox and the Terry Fox Foundation and family here in the UK. Please support me and the efforts of all the volunteers to raise money for the ICR and cement Terry's legacy in the UK.

Thanks, Neil
