Last year my dad, know to most as Mike or Papa Flem urgently underwent a triple coronary artery bypass. He'd been running at his local park run when he suffered an angina attack. BHF were an amazing support before and after the op. He made an amazing recovery is back to some amazing times at park run!

Last year we raised, as a team, over £3000 at the Edinburgh Half Marathon and this year I'm trying to go bigger and better in aid of this great charity!

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
