Story
This is me and my Dad enjoying a beer in the South of France, circa 2016. It was a strong choice of beer. The hats? Maybe not so much…
Some of you will know that in 2019 we lost Dad to a brain tumour. The Brain Tumour Charity came onto our radar back then and we were impressed by their compassion and personal touch.
With this very much in mind, on Sunday 21 April I will be lining up alongside some other elite athletes and attempting to complete the London Marathon - a mere 26.2 miles (or 42.2 kms for my European friends). What can possibly go wrong? 😬
By running for The Brain Tumour Charity, I'm hoping to play my part in The Charity's drive to help people with brain tumours to live longer and better lives..
None of this is possible without the support of family, friends and colleagues past and present of course. This is where you lovely people come in 🫵🏼 😘
All donations are hugely motivational and massively appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story.
