Story
This August, Neil Berry (Consultant Anaesthetist, EAAA Emergency Doctor and general superhuman) and Neil Ralph (AWS Sports Technologist and once a reasonable cyclist) will be taking on the Lap of Anglia to raise funds for the wonderful East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA). Can you believe that the service that provides the best critical care whenever and wherever it is needed, is funded purely by donations? Please help us to support the EAAA by sponsoring our mammoth bike ride.
The ride: 435 miles, 4 days, 14,167ft. The Adrian Flux Lap of Anglia. Starting from the East Anglian Air Ambulance HQ - Helimed House in Norwich and cycling a 435 mile lap around East Anglia finishing back in Norwich four days later. This fully supported event raises vital funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The charity: East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. We exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. We do not receive regular direct government funding and the £17 million we need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations. We are only kept airborne thanks to our incredible supporters.
Thank you very much.
