We're assuming it’s only a few steps!! Unfortunately millions of people around the world don’t have safe access to this basic but essential need. We are currently seeing the horror of Gaza unfold before our eyes. Where millions of innocent civilians are struggling to get clean water, and thousands are dead. The drastic change in our environment, as a result of climate change, is also a huge contributor to the way in which people of all ages and abilities are able to sustain themselves. A number of countries in Africa are experiencing extreme drought for multiple consecutive seasons. Not only has this resulted in a number of families and communities losing their livelihoods due to their animals perishing, and water points drying up but it also exposes women and girls to risk of violence and abuse when having to walk long distances to fetch water. Often these water points are not clean, but being the only source, they have to make do.

By supporting us you will be providing the most at risk communities with the basic human right of water and a way of bringing some hope for an improved future and a step in the right direction to being self-sustaining and more resilient to future shocks and stresses.
