Walking the Camino de Santigo : A Journey of Love, Endurance and Hope..
Dear Friends,
In September 2023, I will embark on a profound and heartfelt journey. I am walking the Camino de Santigo, a 500 mile Catholic pilgrimage, to honour and raise funds for my mother who is battling cancer.
Cancer has brought unimaginable challenges to my mothers life, but I choose to focus on the love and light she radiates despite her battle. This pilgrimage is my way of embracing her spirit, celebrating her resilience, and channelling her unwavering strength.
I am raising funds for St Johns Hospice in Wirral, Merseyside, my mothers chosen charity. I am humbled by the overwhelming support and generosity I have received so far. Your donations and kind words have provided a beacon of hope during this challenging time.
The Camino de Santiago is not an easy path. It demands endurance and preparation, both physically and mentally. Over the course of 30 days, I will push myself to the limits, experiencing pain and suffering along the way. Yet every blister, every ache will serve as a reminder of the immense love and gratitude I hold for my mother.
This pilgrimage holds deep spiritual significance as well. The Camino de Santigo is a sacred journey for countless believers, a path walked by millions seeking solace and a closer connection to their faith.
I want to assure you, dear supporters, that your donations are going to a cause that truly matters. Your generosity will enable crucial essential support for patients and their families, and help alleviate the burden that cancer places upon many lives.
In the midst of pain and suffering, there is a flame of hope that burns even brighter. Your support fans that flame, igniting courage and resilience in my heart as I undertake this pilgrimage. Together, we can make a difference, spreading love, awareness, and support in the face of adversity.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support. May our collective efforts bring comfort, healing, and renewed hope to all those affected by cancer.
With Love and gratitude,
Neal Berry.
