Insh’Allah (God willing) on Sunday 16th April 2023 I will be running my 10th Annual Ramadan 10K Run (whilst FASTING 16 Hours) at the Lincoln (East Midlands)10K Run. Yes, I know sounds crazy with no food or drink! I will personally cover the race fee & Hotel costs so 100% of your donation goes to the stated cause!

I am doing it in aid of Nelson-based Hope for Mankind’s (100% Donation Policy) ‘Uganda (Africa) New Homes Project’ in which poor families (Widows, Orphans, Disabled & Elderly) are being moved from makeshift cone shaped current homes made of mud & straw roofed to safe & secure new 2 room homes including a kitchen. These homes will provide protection from the winters & summer heat as well as improving lives with a clean place to live & help to fight off death from diseases. Uganda is poverty stricken with abject living conditions for hundreds of thousands of people.

EACH HOME COSTS JUST £1,700 (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) & donors will receive full feedback (personalised plaque & videos). Insh’Allah I am hoping with YOUR SUPPORT to raise at least £42,500 so that we can build 25 new homes for vulnerable & poor families. Alhamdulillah Wa Shukrillah House 1 is complete.

I have worked with Hope for Mankind which is a experienced registered charity for 18 months now & have facilitated over 100 Water Pumps in Sindh, Pakistan for the Poor & Needy & I recently visited Sindh on a Self-Funded Pre-Ramadan Deployment in March 2023. They have impressed me with their fantastic work & provide full feedback.

For 25 years I have been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national & international levels receiving national awards in the process. I work as a Careers Adviser in 3 inner city schools & take annual leave for my charity trips & self-fund them. To date I have raised over £660,000 for charitable causes both home & abroad. For the last 9 years every Thursday I have volunteered at the Curry Circle Project providing warm 2 course meals to the homeless & destitute. Ovet the last 11 years as part of the 'Creating Smiles Gifts Initiative' I have set up I've made 35 visits to hospitals childrens wards at Bradford Royal Infirmary & Airedale Hospital Childrens Wards distributing thousands of pounds worth of gifts to poorly children. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi (Africa), Pakistan Pre-Ramadan Deployment (March 2022) & to refugees in France & Belgium all in the last 9 years. In addition, I have fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run & project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house. Furthermore, £78,751 fundraised from my 2021 Ramadan 10K Run to build 63 New 2 Room Homes for Syrian Refugees in Northern Syria with full video feedback for each house. From my Ramadan 2022 fundraising I raised £66,559 to build 35 New Homes for the Poor in Sindh, Pakistan which have been built & feedback videos in the process of bring shared with donors.

I will be working full-time as a Careers Adviser& training whilst fasting so I can help the less fortunate. I am eternally thankful to the donors for their kind donations and on-going support which is humbling.
