Story

We are Andrew, Hannah, Matt, Daryl, Shay, Cam, Phil and Ian and we are taking on the National three peaks 24 hour challenge to support Cain & his dedicated chosen charity OSCAR’s paediatric brain tumour charity on the 3rd August 2024

Cain was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2023 and seeing how he’s dealt with the devastating news, staying positive and his determination to help charities like Oscars has inspired us to raise money for this amazing charity.

We all have our own connections to Cain, Cain’s brother Shay and best friend Cam are joining Stag Electrical who know Cain through the 1079 gym as Andrews personal trainer. Hannah a teacher at York High School, Cains former secondary school.

The Electrical wholesalers LEW Electrical are very generously supplying us a mini bus and Phil and Ian of LEW Electrical are driving to complete the team. LEW Electrical are also donating a huge £500 to the charity which everyone is very grateful of.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours.

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) The total driving distance is 462 miles.

The three mountains are:

* Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)

* Scafell Pike, in England (978m)

* Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)

Any donations will be hugely appreciated
