Aspects Beauty EuroItalia National Accounts Team are taking part in the fundraiser Jim's Walking Pilgrimage to the Dordogne.

On the 19th September Karyn, Sanja, Paris, Olivia and I will be walking with our team - totalling the miles from Sussex to Dordogne to raise money for the Jim Jackson Foundation.

The Jim Jackson Foundation assists young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to build their own future by pursuing their dreams and passions with the support that they need.

The foundation helps with the following:

Enable young people to ignite their future

Help find solutions to specific issues arising from disadvantages

Source appropriate training and development opportunities

Provide a network of support through other organisations

Assist in finding opportunities in the world of business

Assistance and funding basic necessities – the right clothing, equipment, software, presentation materials, transport costs for the first few months of a job, designed to improve confidence and self worth.

Assistance with the provision of computer hardware, software and assistance with the costs of licenses, security systems and other technology based aids.

Assisting with the funding of computer training and digital support to enable research, communication and professionalism.

Helping with communications – mobiles, broadband, printers, website design and execution.

Sourcing and funding the right training modules to assist with such things as English as a second language, interviewing techniques, negotiating skills, business etiquette, networking.

Access to a network of contacts that might assist in finding work placement, internships, part time exposure to the world of work, access to facilities.

Finding a safe place from which to work, with the right access to a desk, power sources, wifi, a postal address, a domain/safe email address.

As well as much more.

This support and these skills are invaluable and can change the course of a person's life.
