Story

My husband Nathan & I have decided to take part in the London Marathon 2025 to raise money for Headway - the brain injury association. We are doing this in memory of our best friend, Richard Holzherr who we sadly lost very suddenly in 2020. He suffered a brain aneurysm after going for a run and unfortunately lost his life.

Rich & Nathan have been best friends for over 20 years and have grown up together. Rich was due to be the Best Man at our wedding in 2020 as Nathan was his. It has been an extremely difficult time dealing with such a catastrophic loss in all of our lives. Rich was honestly one of a kind. Anyone who knew him knew he always brough laughter to everyone in his life. He was hilarious, caring & kind and we miss him everyday. We feel honoured to run the London marathon in his name!
