Story
I'm joining Kevin Sinfield and completing my own 7 in 7 challenge. That's seven runs, walks, cycles or whatever I fancy in seven consecutive days to raise money to support families, that are living with motor neurone disease. Your support will make a difference.
Over seven days, I'll be walking the distance from Hull KR's Craven Park to the Leed's Rhinos ground, the Headingley Carnegie. I am disabled myself, being registered blind, and Rob's fight against MND, and Kevin's achievments have inspired me to do something of my own. It may not be half as impressive as Sir Kev's, but it'll still be a challenge for me.
MND Association patron Rob Burrow CBE sadly died on 2 June 2024, four and a half years after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Throughout that time, Rob and his family bravely chose to publicly share their MND journey to raise awareness of the disease.
Whether you can donate £7, or £77, every penny counts in the fight against MND. The money raised will provide care and support for people living with, and affected by MND. It will also fund vital research to help better understand the disease and bring us closer to finding a cure.
Thank you for your support.
