In just 7 weeks, I’ll be running the London Marathon — something I’ve dreamed of doing for a very long time but never managed to secure a place until now. I’ve been training hard and I’m so excited to take on the challenge of running 26.2 miles!

I’m proud to be running in support of the NSPCC, a charity that’s very close to my heart through my work as a primary school teacher. Did you know that in the average primary school class, at least two children have suffered abuse or neglect? I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work they do to protect children and prevent abuse, and I’m honoured to contribute to their cause.

My fundraising goal is £2200, and every donation, big or small, will go a long way in helping the NSPCC provide vital services to keep children safe.
