Story

Sunday 26th November.

At the start of CRY's awareness week, we will be walking 12 miles around St Martins, Llangollen and surrounding areas of North Wales to get people talking about and supporting this incredible charity.

In April 2022 we sadly lost out best friend Tizz to an undetected heart complaint.

We all love and miss him very much ❤️

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
