Story
Let's stand up and show solidarity with refugees and people on the move, and let the vocal minority know that there's no place for racism in our society.
I'm taking part in a 25 km walk across the South Downs to help raise funds for Refugee Support.
After a traumatic journey, people on the move face numerous challenges and a hostile environment. Refugee Support offers an alternative welcome: much-needed material support alongside a sense of stability and agency. Their Centres in the UK and Europe are safe spaces where values of community, solidarity and dignity are lived out in the here and now. At the same time, they advocate for systemic change: pushing for a fair, compassionate and well-managed asylum system - both in the UK and the EU.
As a small and dynamic organisation, they are efficient and responsive—ensuring your money goes straight to where it's needed.
