Story
After rupturing my ACL and MCL in my right knee 10 years ago my running never quite recovered.
Add to that several rounds of Covid during the pandemic, running seemed out of reach.
This time last year I was reduced to my knees after running 2 minutes.
Now I can run 30 minutes, and I love it! This is my free time to think!
Unfortunately January 24 didn’t start so well, there has been no time to run, so to make up for it I have decided to challenge myself to run 100km in the month of February. I’ll have to average 3.5km every day.
Of course I could just run in honour of my wobbly bottom, but I have decided to raise money for Great Ormond Street children’s Hospital.
Every day, more than 750 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital with complex life threatening illnesses.
Please donate if you can, and if you want to go for a run with me, hit me up!
