So, a fire walk isn't really a "me" thing to do but I'm willing to walk over hot coals to show my support for this wonderful local charity! 🔥🔥

I've been volunteering for SCCCC for over a year now and have seen first hand how much they change the lives of lonely older people in Sheffield.

I am part of the Good Neighbour Scheme and was matched with a fantastic lady named Ann. Ann had recently lost her husband and was suffering with loneliness so wanted some extra company in the week. I've been seeing her every week since for a coffee and a natter and I always leave with a smile on my face knowing I've had a positive impact on her day.

There are currently over 200 older people in the good neighbour Scheme waiting for a match. It'd be amazing to raise money to support SCCCC but another big reason I want to do the Fire Walk is the raise awareness of the Charity. If I don't raise the full £500 but just one person volunteers, it would change someone's life.
