Story
On the 21st of April I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. In 2020 I lost my Nanny to dementia and therefore this charity is close to my heart. My Nanny was kind, caring and always put others before herself and I am following in her footsteps by putting others before me and this is why I have chosen to run the London Marathon. Although I have run a half marathon in the past, I am not an athlete and have had to push myself to train for this, but I believe this is a great cause to run for and I will be proud to run for them in April. Alzheimer Society is the ‘only Dementia charity that offers dedicated support to those who need them now, campaigns for change and funds groundbreaking research for a better tomorrow.’ By fundraising for them I hope to help them continue their work to stop this cruel disease. Any donation big or small will make a difference, thank you for your support!💞
