This iconic walk will see the community unite to take strides through the Capital, as we reflect, remember and raise awareness of brain tumours. Together, we can lead the way in accelerating cures and helping those diagnosed live longer and better.

Story

I will be joining the Twilight Walk with my dear friend Sandra in loving memory of my daughter Natalie. Natalie was diagnosed with a grade 4 Brain Tumour in 2017, aged 27 years and she died at just 31 years of age. At diagnosis, we were devastated to learn there was no cure for her cancer and that treatment options hadn't changed in decades

33 people are newly diagnosed with a brain tumour every day. Brain Cancer is the biggest cancer killer for people under 40 years of age. For those with loved ones with a brain tumour, a cure cannot wait - we need to act now to raise awareness and funds to support research to discover new treatment options to offer hope.

Natalie, you shone so brightly in your short life; you are missed every day. We join this walk in your memory to ensure there can be a better future for Brain Tumour patients.
