London Marathon 2024 after our baby news put a stop to my 2022 efforts!

I am running the London Marathon 2024 in memory of my friend Emily who always told us all:

“I don’t want you leaving this saying how inspirational I am unless you are inspired and motivated to do something”

Well Emily.... you've inspired and motivated me to take on the biggest challenge of my life so far!

A massive part of this challenge is going to be sharing Emily's story and also hearing the stories of others who's lives have been turned upside down by Cancer. When Emily was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma her family and friends were confused, angry, devastated and generally riding a rollercoaster of emotions but Emily saw this as a challenge and one which she would overcome... not once but twice! Remission was absolutely possible twice over for Em!

Even from her hospital bed Emily rallied up her family and friends getting fundraisers organized for lifesaving charities that had supported her and others going through their cancer treatments. You can read all about her work here and her story in her own words at:

But the fight against cancer goes on....
