Story
The idea behind the hike was to mark 5 years since my MS diagnoses - a bit of a “I can still do hard things” kind of vibe and fundraising with friends for charity. I’d initially thought an MS charity but I’ve decided I’d like it to be a mental health charity because to date the biggest affect MS has had on me has been mentally. At times I’ve found the uncertainty of navigating my future with MS difficult. I recognise the privileged position I’m in to be able to seek support when I’ve needed it and I know how promising and reassuring it is to have support available to you .
I’ve chosen Mental Health Aberdeen who are dedicated to improving mental wellbeing by offering free information and counselling. We’d love to be able to hit a 1k target. If you’re not able to donate we’d really appreciate a share 🙏
Grateful to Andy, Vikki, Blair, Rebecca, Ian, Brian, Ruth and Sarah for joining me in this challenge ❤️
PS. Hopefully we can repay you with some beautiful sunrise photographs from the top🌅
