Story

Hello, Natalie here.

On the 10th of August 2024, I will be completing a Sky dive with my lovely colleagues at Nightingale House Hospice. In case you don't know, we are a charity who care for palliative patients. We operate by raising money to keep the amazing facilities active for every patient's individual care.

Therefore, I thought this was a perfect opportunity for me to raise some money for the hospice. I am very proud to be a part of Nightingale House and the community that supports us.

I am also doing this Sky dive in honour of my stepdad, Daniel Miller, who unfortunately passed away in 2021 from cancer. If you knew Danny, you will know that he was the most amazing, genuine, caring, loyal, funny man, who had the biggest positive outlook on life. Danny should never have gone through what he did. He was taken so young, at the age of just 41. Danny put up the biggest fight and was the bravest man I know.

As we know, cancer does not discriminate and can affect 1 in 2 people. I know that Danny will be so proud of me, and this is also a chance for me to be close to him in the sky.

Danny did not pass away in the hospice, but I know that he will be honoured that the Sky dive will be in his name and the money raised will be going to such a good cause, so we can continue to provide the care and love we give here at the hospice.

My aim is to raise £500, I know times are tough at the moment, but every penny counts. So please, if you can, sponsor me for such a good cause. Everyone at the hospice and myself will be truly grateful.
