Story

Hi everyone!

In October, my sister Savannah and I will be running the London Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

Along with most of London, this year we both took up running and joined the growing epidemic of 20 year olds pelting Battersea Park like there’s no tomorrow. It started with a purchase of some Clifton 9’s and now to mark the pinnacle of my running career, we have decided to run our first Half Marathon to raise money for a fantastic charity which funds life-changing research, development of treatments and support for family’s affected by this nasty disease.

This Easter, our dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Brain Cancer. He underwent brain surgery and following a biopsy, it was revealed he has a Glioblastoma. Unfortunately, Glioblastomas are an aggressive and incurable form of Cancer so all treatment is designed to keep the tumour dormant for as long as possible, before it inevitably grows back.

Alas, powerless to this sneaky disease, we have decided to do the best we can out of a rotten situation and show our support for our beloved papa - who, of course, doesn’t understand what the fuss is about.

Any donations would be enormously appreciated as we give cancer the finger ❤️
