Earlier this year, on the back of a runners high having finished my first ever marathon in Seville- I signed up to run the Valencia Marathon. This takes place on the 1st December- which is just over a week away.

As many of you know- I lost my dad only last week and I wasn’t sure if I could take part in the race. My dad was an incredible man. Truly one of a kind- wise, stubborn, generous, and always ready with a joke. Having spoken with my family- I know that my dad would have been supportive so I have decided to run the marathon in his memory, and raise money in his name for The British Red Cross Gaza Crisis Appeal.
