Story
The Lloyd's building in Lime Street is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the City of London. Designed by Richard Rogers and opened in 1986 by the late Queen Elizabeth II, it stands at 289 ft tall, and opportunities to abseil from its summit are rarely available.
The Miscarriage Association is lucky to have been chosen as one of the few charities being offered just five places at this year’s annual abseil down this iconic structure on Thursday 27th June 2024, and I have been selected to represent them by taking part in this amazing challenge.
After experiencing 3 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy I found there was not enough awareness or the know of where to go for support during the heartbreak and tragic loss I went through each time.
Please sponsor me as I take on the challenge of a lifetime to help the Miscarriage Association to support those who need them most.
The majority of the M.A.'s income comes from fundraising activities and donations, money raised by people who have been through pregnancy loss themselves or care about someone who has, and who want to help others in a similar situation.
