Story
So….here we are!🤣🙈
Many of you will know my why for doing this but for those that don’t…
in 2014 we found out we were expecting our beautiful Charlotte. Little did we know that the pregnancy and birth would be as traumatic as it was. Born at 28 weeks and weighing 2lbs 10oz, Charlotte was as very poorly. So poorly that she spent her first week in GOSH and then was discharged to Barnet starlight neonatal unit where she spent a further 7 weeks.
She received the best care and when she came home it was the perfect gift we could’ve asked for.
The care for both baby and parents doesn’t end when you leave hospital, it continues beyond and I’m forever grateful and thankful for Bliss for the constant support and information they give to parents.
I’ve always said that if I ever participated in the London Marathon it would be for Bliss as it means so much to us all💜
They do important work and raise so much awareness.
Thank you 💜
The rate of babies born premature or sick in the UK is rising with 1 in every 7 babies needing neonatal care.
Bliss is continuing the fight to improve outcomes and quality of life for these babies - but we need your help to do that.
