Story
The Nuclear AMRC is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, with the aim of raising at least £25,000 this year to help people with cancer live as fully as they can. We feel that it is important for us to lead by example and stand up for good causes, and our support of Macmillan is a great opportunity to help people with cancer to live life as fully as they can.
Kickstarting activities over 2023, we have entered the Keswick to Barrow event with a 40-mile walk / run in the Lake District on Saturday 13 May (donations via this link to team members - https://keswick2barrow.co.uk/walkerdonation). We will also be making the most of our planned events and wider activities over the course of the year to promote and support this initiative including our flagship Nuclear Manufacturing Summit supply chain conference on 11–12 October.
We look forward to working with our network on this great initiative including members, partners, Fit For Nuclear companies and our wider stakeholders to maximise the impact of our work to generate funds, raise awareness and make a difference. Our thanks go out in advance for your positive support for this initiative and contributions that will be made to support us in achieving our goal.
