AlBadar Ramadhan Iftar, with talks by ISRA UK and other leading figures, including spoke word artists.

A two course meal with addition Ramadhan additions to the menu followed by tea and baklava. Live auction, stalls and halal raffle. Please join us. The event is from. 5pm to 8.30pm

Asalamu alaikum everyone.

I'm hoping to raise £4000 with the help of your generous donations and join ISRA UK on an all-women team deployment to Egypt this Ramadhan in sha Allah. All the money raised will be used to purchase sanitary/hygiene kit items. We will be sorting and packing these items into boxes to load on to lorries to be sent directly into Gaza by road in sha Allah. All costs incurred are the total cost for purchasing, packaging and transportation costs into Gaza by road.

Project Background

Help displaced women and girls in Gaza get vital hygiene supplies, including period products and sanitary items for girls and women. ISRA-UK is sending an all-female team to pack emergency kits in Egypt and meet Palestinian refugees. Support us in delivering aid to Gaza. 🇪🇬🇵🇸🇯🇴

Many girls and women in the besieged occupied territory have also said they go weeks without showering amid dire humanitarian conditions and a shortage of essential items.

With nearly two million displaced people currently sheltering in refugee camps, the city has been overwhelmed, with more than four times its usual population as Palestinians fleeing war seek refuge in extremely overcrowded conditions while being continuously bombed.

ISRA-UK is planning on sending an all-female deployment to Egypt to prepare and pack a 40ft container with emergency hygiene packs for women, girls and younger children in Gaza.

Travelling during the last ten days of Ramadan, the British women’s group will be packing boxes of period pads, panty liners, wipes, mother-and-baby hygiene items and toiletries onto pallets in Egypt before the aid is transported directly to Gaza, authorised by the Palestine Ministry of Social Affairs.

We need to raise enough money to send multiple pallets of hygiene packs in containers that form our ongoing aid convoy of trucks to Gaza.
