Hello!
On Monday 31st July I'll be hosting a raffle to raise money for Home-Start. The prizes are shown at the bottom of the page and are handmade by me, with materials, postage and packaging covered by myself. Raffle tickets will cost £5 via this JustGiving page, and only entries made on 31st July between 9am and 5pm BST will count, so don't donate early or late if you want to try and win a prize! Donating £5 gets you one entry, £10 gets two etc, so you can enter as many times as you like, and whether you win or lose, you're donating to a great cause!
Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. The precious early years of a child's life lay the foundations of virtually every aspect of human development - affecting how healthy and happy we are, our life chances and even how long we live. The emotional, physical and psychological cost for children in struggling families is immense and can last a lifetime. That's why for almost 50 years Home-Start has supported parents so that they can give their children the best possible start, despite their challenging circumstances. Home-Start volunteers are helping to transform the lives of children with struggling parents. Whatever they're experiencing - such as loneliness, financial difficulty, domestic violence, mental health issues, bereavement, multiple births or disability - their trained volunteers are helping with support focusing on what the families need.
The raffle is open worldwide and the winners will be decided using a random generator, with names drawn in reverse order shortly after the raffle closes. Make sure to include your name when donating and check the box that shares your details with me so that I can contact you if you win. If I don't get a response from the winners within 2 weeks, new names will be drawn.
