Story
I will be travelling to Mali this December to build clean water supplies, provide classrooms for children and help to establish a health centre for the local community.
Mali is a vibrant and beautiful country, but sadly over the last decade, widespread poverty, natural disasters, food insecurity, and conflict have led to alarming numbers of children facing malnutrition and illness.
Climate change to rising fuel and food prices have only added to the problems. Mali is a landlocked country and suffers from many floods and due to this, many Malians have been without homes, schools and health centres.
This community does not have access to basic essentials every human has a right to - but with your impact, we can help make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.
What difference will my donations make?
By building water wells, you will allow the community to avoid drinking contaminated water, children spend less time walking far to gather water which also means they get to spend more time in schools. This will help provide them with greater opportunities to break out of the cycles of poverty alongside the new classrooms so they can earn a proper education.
I will share my journey on social media to show you exactly where your donations are going and how they are making a difference.
