Dear friends and family,

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m running the London Marathon in 2025 (deferred from 2024) to raise funds for the Association of Afghan Healthcare Professionals UK. This charity supports Afghan healthcare professionals who have recently arrived in the UK, helping them gain the financial support needed to sit the costly equivalency exams required to practice in the NHS.

Many of these highly skilled professionals are being locked out of the NHS due to the high cost of these exams, and with the current crisis in healthcare, we need them now more than ever. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference.
