Story
I have chosen save the rhino as my charity for this years London Marathon. I will be running the 26.2 mile course in a 12kg and very restrictive giant Rhino costume. The running position is very difficult and I can’t see or hear much inside the suit so I am like a large blind and deaf rhino. Everyone who knows me knows I like an extra challenge and to push my limits. I am doing it to try and help save our magnificent Rhinos from extinction. There are 5 species of Rhino left and 3 of those species are critically endangered, 2 of which have less than 80 left. Faced with the everyday threat of poachers and the Rhinos natural habitat shrinking we are at a very real risk of losing them forever.
I am a mummy to 4 amazing children and have a very supportive husband and I do these crazy challenges in the hope that I am inspiring my little family to do the same one day and I am hopefully making them proud too.
Thank you to each and everyone for your continued support
Save the Rhino's vision is to see all five species of rhino thrive in the wild. Every day, they work with a wonderful community of passionate friends, partners, and supporters to achieve their vision.
In April 2024, I'm taking on the challenge of the London Marathon, charging through the city to raise awareness of, and funds for, rhinos. Please donate and help me take on this endurance challenge for these iconic animals.
Thank you very much for your support!
