The Mud Pack Challenge is a 14km or 7km muddy obstacle course in the beautiful grounds of Ashridge House.

Story

Safran Electrical & Power are really pleased to have a team of employees taking part in the Mud Pack Challenge, a fun muddy event in aid of The Hospice of St Francis! This is a dedicated page to fund raise for this event and any money raised will be included in our overall Charity of the Year fund raising target.

With every obstacle our team members overcome and every penny they raise, you will be helping them support the Hospice of St Francis.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with The Hospice, it is situated in a beautiful building and grounds on the outskirts of Berkhamsted. They offer a haven of tranquillity and calm at a time when people need it most, enabling people to live their lives well right to the very end of life.

The Hospice consists of a 12 bedroom In-Patient Unit and The Spring Centre which is a wellness and rehabilitation centre and they provide free holistic care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Their services cost over £5m a year to run which equates to £10 per minute, supporting over 2000 people per year, all whilst recieving only 20% of their funding from the NHS.
