Story

On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August, members of MTX, United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and DAY Project Management are taking part in a charity walk from Skegness to Lincoln to raise money for United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity.

The walk will consist of a challenging 42 miles over the course of two days. Our target of £15,000 will allow ULH Charity to purchase equipment such as an interactive Kitten Scanner; which is a miniature scanner used to prepare children for an upcoming MRI or CT scan without the need of sedation or a general anaesthetic.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the biggest acute Trusts in England, serving a population of over 720,000 people. #TeamMTX are currently constructing two Community Diagnostic Centres in Lincoln and Skegness, giving patients in Lincolnshire improved access to NHS diagnostic procedures including CT, X-ray and ultrasound.

We're proud to be supporting our NHS partners in their mission to fund innovative equipment, to help provide a better healthcare experience while supporting first-time-right imaging.

About the charity

The charity exists to support all aspects of the work of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust to improve the treatment and experience of patients. Funding helps to provide the “extras” that can't be provided from NHS statutory funding, but make a real difference to patients and staff.
