Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are pleased to announce that Danny, one of our Fabrication Apprentices, will be fundraising for our Charity of the Year, Rotherham Hospice.
Danny is fundraising in remembrance of his dad, Iain, who passed away at the hospice 10 years ago at the age of 43. Danny, who was 7 years old at the time, was supported by the hospice's children's bereavement support group Sunbeams and he would like to show his appreciation for that support.
Rotherham Hospice's dedicated team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide palliative care that incorporates psychological, physical, social, and spiritual support. Their mission is to help patients and their families achieve the very best quality of life, both at home and in the Hospice.
By taking part in the hospice's Midnight Memory Walk on June 22nd, 2024, Danny aims to raise funds that will directly contribute to Rotherham Hospice's exceptional care for the people of Rotherham affected by a terminal illness.
Danny and the team from our training school will walk 10K through the streets of Rotherham in the middle of the night, starting and ending outside of Magna Science Park.
